I started using natural products on my pets many years ago having owned many with health and/or allergy issues.
As time moved on, I tried, tested and adapted to the environment we lived in, taking in to account the types of bugs that could harm my dogs.
Using my knowledge of essential oils and medicinal plants, I learnt how to make balms, salves, soaps, tinctures, oils and blends – all designed specifically for pets.
Over the last few years, there seem to be more and more pet owners who would like to take the natural approach I have taken, and so, I started to make my homemade remedies available to friends and family and the network of animal shelters and rescues here in the Algarve.
In addition, with the current harsh economic times and high cost of chemical pet products, many owners are looking for something that is not only better for their pets, but more cost effective too.
This is how Dog Naturals came about…
